Sorry for the lack of updates here recently. Remember that pencil animation experiment I mentioned about a ball falling off a cliff? I just scanned all 41 frames of it and placed it into flash, and submitted it to Deviantart.Check it out HERE. Also, here's a more recent, but slightly less successful test I did for Uni, transforming a Bottle into a Kettle (Click the image to the left). It was harder drawing on one long piece of card, rather than separate sheets of paper which I could trace through.I have also done two more small pieces of animations recently. One is a new icon for my DevinatArt account (You'll see it on there. It's a journey into some creature's mouth and then into the creature's tonsil's mouth. Freaky.), and a 16 second flash piece about a Snail with a sniffle called 'SNER'. That's also currently up on DevinatArt HERE. I will upload it to Tea N Crumpets in due time, but before I do, I really need to re-design the animations page slightly as it's very awkward to add stuff to at the moment. Just adding one animation involves having to almost re-program the entire thing, add a scene etc, so I will be editing it so the signs are a bit more like the one's used in the Illustration section. Things have been busy, but I'm enjoying it. When it's animation, it really feel as much like work.
I have two main short animations to produce before the end of the year. One will be a quick experimental piece using a mix of computer programs (Flash, Photoshop and possibly After Effects), and the other a stop-motion clay story based on characters I thought up in a Daily Doodle once: The Fuji's. Below are some photos of the models (Click to enlarge). I'm going to animate it in a similar fashion to Rex the Runt, with flat characters animated on a table.
