Happy 20th Birthday Sonic the Hedgehog

Don't normally plug a post from my other Blog Sega Memories here, but this time it can double as a art blog post. Sonic the Hedgehog, quite possibly the biggest influence in my life from a creative stand point, is now 20 years old since the first game was released. These started out as doodles in a sketchbook from last year that I decided to try a hand at vectoring them up, for me to brush up on my use of Illustrator. I finally think I'm starting to get used to it now, though I still have a long way until I figure how all the best tools and that.

In the official Rabbids fan Club Magazine! Not once but twice in fact, if you count the smaller image on the contents page!

I’ve known it was to be printed for around two months after I e-mailed them the art, but wanted to keep it a secret from Stacey so it’d be a surprise when it arrived! :P
